BACKBONE PARTY
Electro-rock band
Backbone Party was born under the leadership of Rabih Gebeile in the spring of 2009. The group recorded the album Beirutopia with Ted Niceley, director of Tostaky and 666.667 Club albums of Noir Desir, as well as most of discography of Girls Against Boys and Fugazi. Many of their songs have been remixed by influential artists such as Rayess Bek, Laudanum and We Are Disco Doom Revenge. Their sound both electro-industrial and old-school rock attracted several specialized sites such as PixBear, Attica, Mygmusique. … The Careless title appeared in the compilation n#1 of CD1D. The music video for their title Beirutopium directed by Ely Dagher, received the badge of « Staff Pick » on Vimeo. Alex Augier is a composer, arranger, drummer and manager of electronic parts.
