Musician/composer and multidisciplinary artist, Alex Augier works unfolds at the confluence of music, digital art, and immersive experience. His singular approach explores the interplay between sound, image, space, and technology—crafting multidimensional performances where music and visual art merge into a cohesive and sensorial language.
With a focus on bespoke digital setups, Augier creates striking audiovisual pieces that transcend traditional formats, blurring the lines between concert, installation, and performance. His universe embraces cutting-edge tools such as spatialized sound, generative visuals and modular synthesis, offering audiences a deeply immersive and forward-thinking experience.
He considers this art as a specific field of creation where each performance is a dialogue of frequencies and forms, a choreography of the audible and the visible. Boundaries dissolve: music becomes light, space becomes score, the digital becomes organic.
He also creates installations, compositions and records, alone or in collaboration with visual artists Guillaume Marmin, Alba G. Corral, Heather Lander, Jules Ramage, Marina L, Damien Bourniquel.
His work is regularly presented at leading international festivals and venues devoted to digital arts and contemporary music, including Mutek, TodaysArt, Sónar, Ars Electronica, Scopitone, Elektra, Némo, Centre Pompidou and Gaîté Lyrique—spaces where his boundary-pushing projects continue to resonate.
